Even at age 4, Geoff was a climber! In 1974 we moved to Athens, GA where we bought a nice little ranch house. Inspired by Eliot Wigginton’s Firefox books, which we used to try to get into the spirit of the South, the boys and I built a log cabin. I just noticed that Geoff’s Great Grandpa Nordstrom, my mother’s father, is in the lower right corner of this photo. He and my grandmother were on their way to Florida. On this trip he brought us the violin which he played when he was a boy (see next entry) which I still play.
Some of my earliest memories are dangling from that rope ladder! It will be fun to build a log cabin with Ivy and Sage one day!
