Geoff not only does most of the cooking, he grows most of our food. Without Geoff I would still be subsisting on english muffin pizza, canned soup, and dinner-in-a-box.
All four of my kids have liked cooking with me when they were young. I have always loved cooking too and baked all our bread since before Geoff could remember. During the couple of years of my "bachelorhood" I did all the cooking and the boys would help out. Sara made them little monogrammed aprons as recognition of that. So, Geoff has never thought there was anything unusual about a man in the kitchen. I must admit, though, that I had nothing to do with his prowess in the garden; I have never cared to garden and have never been successful at it. My dad was an avid gardener, though, so maybe that trait skips generations.
